Congratulations Masters Hockey New Sealand
Het Masters Hockey WK2024 in Nieuw Zeeland heeft een zeer bijzondere erkenning gekregen. Zij zijn (boven MAXX North Harbour Badminton International 2025) verkozen tot hét Event of the year tijdens de Harbour Sport - Giessen Sport Excellence 2025 verkiezingen.
WMH zegt er het volgende over
At the North Harbour Sports Excellence Awards 2025 on Friday night, Hockey New Zealand won Event of the Year for the 2024 Masters Hockey World cup! This event brought over 2600 athletes from 25 countries, supported by 200 officials and thousands of spectators. It was the largest international hockey event hosted in New Zealand and delivered an estimated $18 million economic impact.
The WMH is so grateful to @hockeynewzealand for bringing the tournament to NZ and for their support in helping WMH deliver such a world-class event. This award is shared with everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make it happen.
